Description:

Dripstop is a proven, economical way of stopping the underside of a metal roof dripping with condensation on uninsulated panels, by trapping and releasing water droplets back into the air. Dripstop membrane turns steel sheeting into anti-condensation roof sheets and is designed to reduce dripping, or running condensate, by creating a vapour barrier on metal roofing panels in buildings with moderate to high levels of humidity.

Dripstop creates a medium for trapping moisture in specially designed pockets formed in the felt membrane. As moisture condenses in high temperature and humidity conditions, Dripstop controls how cyclical condensate forms onto the underside of steel roofing. It does not prevent condensation from forming and, when working correctly, feels damp to the touch.

To help Dripstop work effectively, it is recommended to have a pitched roof of 10 degrees or more. Any lower than this and the shallow angle will cause the water droplets to drip down off the sheet without effectively evaporating back into the environment.

Cladco 13/3 Corrugated Roof Sheets give the look of a traditional 13/3 ‘corrugated iron’ profile and have 13 corrugations of 3 inch/76mm round, with a width coverage of 990mm when installed.

They really do give the look of traditional ‘corrugated iron’ that has been used for over a century. Cladco corrugated roof sheets are available in a range of colours and 0.5 and 0.7mm thickness, with a polyester paint coat on top of the galvanised steel.

It is recommended to use fixings on Cladco corrugated sheets as the BAZ washer creates a seal. The lightweight 13/3 corrugated roof sheets are easy to fit, making your installation fast and easy, available in a range of colours, thicknesses and finishes, they are also independently tested to current CE EN 14782 requirements.

Mainly used as roofing and cladding on industrial, domestic, commercial and agricultural buildings, this single skin 13/3 corrugated roof sheets can be used to over clad an existing roof, part of an insulated build-up system or purely as single skin. Construction using this type of 13/3 corrugated roof sheets can be safely undertaken down to a 10-degree pitch.
